Brad spent the first 10 years of his career as a civil litigation trial lawyer defending complex construction defect, products liability, medical malpractice and other civil cases. He defended over 30 multi-million dollar cases to verdict in addition to handling many arbitrations and mediations.

Brad then spent the next 18 years serving dual roles as in-house Legal Counsel and Contracts Manager where he negotiated multi-million dollar contracts in the ethanol and power generation (nuclear and fossil) industries. He negotiated billions of dollars in deals for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of new plants in addition to complicated deals involving the design, build, and installation of power generation equipment. Brad has served as lead negotiator for over $50 billion in contracts in 32 countries. He also served as principal Contract Manager for over $25 billion in commercial projects in simultaneous execution where he was responsible for handling change orders and claims negotiation and resolution.

Brad received both his undergraduate degree in business administration and his law degree from the University of Richmond.
